Oatmeal with Protein and Fruit

Breakfast Recipes:

1/3 cup of old fashioned oats
1 cup of water (or Almond milk)
1 Banana Sliced
Cinnamon and a drizzle of honey as Garnish
1/8 tsp of Salt
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder

In a small sauce pan heat up your water or almond milk to boiling over high heat.
add a pinch of salt.
When your liquid is boiling, add the oats and stir to make sure it does not boil over, lower the heat to medium-high.
Cook for about 5 minutes and remove from heat
In a bowl, Slice up your banana, then add it to that bowl.
Mix the protein powder into your oatmeal and pour it over the banana.
Drizzle with honey and dust with Cinnamon.
This will give you about 345 calories, 26 grams of protein and that will help last you through the day.
